Busy Busy Busy

I know I haven't posted for a long time but I've just been busy busy busy... I got my Mary Kay starter kit at the end of last week which made me real excited and I also had my first facial last Sunday, Ashleigh was the brave one to let me do it lol It was fun, and I have also been working on one of my quilts, right now I'm just sewing it all together so soon I'll have the first one done YAY.

This week there is a "Girls Night Out" party at the Mary Kay studio in Sandy and my self, Sarah, Emily and 2 other friends of mine will go and we'll see how it turns out to be. I told my director that I wanna do all the facials on my friends so they don't feel awkward and I can learn too :D

Me and Sonny have also been busy making some marketing stuff for Mary Kay, such as ads on Google and Facebook, my own website (aside from the Mary Kay personal website) that you can see here because in the Google and Facebook ads it says that it's free facial but on the Mary Kay personal website it doesnt say that anywhere, so to avoid confusion we made a little site to show that part :) Thanks Sonny you're the best!!!

I also made another decision regarding Mary Kay which again Sonny helped me with it (he's my personal financial and marketing director :P ) I don't know if many of you know, but when you become a Mary Kay Consultant your director tries to get you to buy as big inventory as you can, why? because she gets a certain percentage out of it. So I was debating whether or not to start with a $600 inventory, while my director was trying to convince me to get a "business loan" and start with a $1,800 inventory because that's how I will make money... yeah right. I don't even know if I will have people to sell it to, and if I do I don't know if I will get the right stuff... so that was a big NO.

Instead I spent little money and got more different samples that will help me do quite a few facials and if any of the people I facial want to buy something they will just have to wait 3-4 days to get it, that's not bad at all...

My little Sam was also sick last week, he had ear infection (which was odd cause he has tubes in his ears) but he's feeling much better now :)

I'll post pictures soon from the quilt :)
